Academics:

I've done my schooling from Barnes School, Deolali - an ICSE board school, and my junior college from RYK Science College, Nashik. I graduated as a computer engineer, bachelors, from K.K. Wagh College of Engg, Nashik.

I was awarded the Sun Certified Java ProfessionalCertification - after I cleared the SCJP exam for Java (5) Tiger in July 2006.

I've completed a course on Systems Analysis and Design, via a Distance Education Program from IIT Mumbai by Prof. Shashikant Kelkar.

Professional:

On the professional front, I've been working in Software Engineering front since July 2004.

I'm currently working as a Senior Software Engineer with Yahoo! SDC, Bangalaore, India.

Before Yahoo I used to work as a Module Lead at Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd., Pune.

Before Persistent, Kothari InfoTech Ltd., Surat, Gujarat, India employed me as a Trainee for 9 months.

History:

My parents moved to Deolali, Nashik in Maharashtra, India and I was born and brought up in there. My dad - Kumar Tanwani is a pathologist and practices in Deolali Camp. My mom Malini Tanwani is a housewife. I've a mischievous younger brother, studying in JC right now.

We currently stay at GODHAN. Godhan is located at Saubhagya Nagar in Nashik, about 3.5 kms from the Nashik Road railway station. It’s a beautiful place, with loads of greenery, pleasant climate and nice surroundings. Located close, if 15km is close, to the pilgrimage Nashik this place also sports a religious look.
